

As part of the Metro Project implementation, a presentation of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report was held for representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), media organizations, universities, and professional associations on 2025.07.03.
During the meeting, comprehensive information was provided on the objectives of the metro project, the implementation plan, route alignment, potential environmental and social impacts, and proposed mitigation measures. The project team also responded to questions and feedback raised by participants, providing clear explanations and professional clarifications.
The meeting was jointly organized by the Metro Project Unit of the Integrated Project Management Office, Econatur LLC, and DUHUA Engineering Co., Ltd., with participation from both local and international experts. The event served as a valuable platform for professional dialogue, enabling participants to exchange views, provide expert opinions, and gain a deeper understanding of the project.
Representatives of the participating organizations highlighted that the metro project aligns with the city’s sustainable development goals and emphasized the importance of transparency and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle. The meeting was assessed as productive and effective, and the project team noted that the feedback and recommendations received would be taken into consideration during the subsequent stages of project implementation.
