As part of the appraisal process, a comprehensive evaluation was carried out covering technical and economic analyses, engineering solutions, construction methodologies, safety measures, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

In addition, the metro alignment, station locations, tunneling solutions, and construction technologies have been developed in accordance with modern best practices.
This milestone establishes the necessary legal and technical foundation to proceed to the next stages of the project, including securing financing, initiating procurement processes, and selecting contractors.
Going forward, the project will be implemented in phases with the objective of reducing traffic congestion in the capital and providing citizens with a safe, fast, and comfortable high-capacity public transportation system
