Between June 23 and June 26, 2025, a series of public consultation meetings were organized to present the ESIA report and exchange views with residents of the districts and khoroos located along the planned metro route.

Residents from over 40 khoroos across Songinokhairkhan, Bayangol, Sukhbaatar, Chingeltei, and Bayanzurkh districts actively participated in these meetings.

Key topics of the meetings:

• Information sharing: The objectives of the metro project, its implementation progress, alignment location, and potential environmental impacts were presented.
• Mitigation measures: Detailed explanations were provided on plans to prevent, reduce, and mitigate potential negative impacts on the living environment of residents.
• Public participation: Project team members responded to questions raised by residents and recorded their feedback and suggestions.

The meetings were successfully organized by the Ulaanbaatar Metro Project Unit under the Integrated Project Management Organization, in collaboration with Econature LLC and Dohwa Engineering Co., Ltd. (Republic of Korea), together with the Governor’s Offices of the respective districts. The project unit also expressed its commitment to incorporating residents’ feedback and recommendations into project implementation moving forward.
