REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MONGOLIAN RAILWAY INDUSTRY WORKED IN THE UNITED KINGDOM
Representatives from the Mongolian railway industry, including officials from the Ulaanbaatar Metro Project, visited the UK between 14th June and 21st June to hold business meetings with their counterparts, visit rolling stock factories based in the UK, and participate in the UK’s largest rail exhibition – Rail Live 2025.
The Railway Trade Mission is organized by the Department of Business and Trade of the UK with support of the Embassies of both countries and the delegates from Mongolia had business meetings with UK businesses including Alsdom, Ricardo, CAF Rolling Stock Factory and the officials from the Ulaanbaatar Metro Project introduced the project to the participants of the Rail Live 2025 on 18th June 2025.
A meeting on the progress of the Ulaanbaatar Metro Project was held at the UK Export Finance on 19th June 2025, and parties involved in the project had extensive discussions on the financial structure of the project and the progress of works of the parties involved.
